Our August mission project with Midwest Missions Distribution Center (MMDC) is collecting items for Student Kits. Cloth bags and shopping lists are available on the end of each pew or on the table outside the sanctuary doors. Feel free to pick up a bag and do the shopping or make a donation and we’ll do the shopping for you. Each kit includes the following: 3 notebooks (1 subject spiral 8"x10 1/2"), 1 ruler (12" long with metric), 6 pencils (unsharpened), 1 pencil sharpener, 1 pencil eraser (2" or larger), 1 box 12 colored pencils, 1 box 24 crayons, and 1 pair student scissors.

It’s time to start sewing cloth bags for the Missions Team…our goal is 200 bags! We’ll be filling these bags with school supplies for MMDC (Midwest Mission Distribution Center) in August. Sewers are invited to pick up a pattern and fabric outside the church office or here’s the pattern. Fabric donations are also welcome and can be dropped off in the container by the church office. The recommended fabrics are denim, corduroy, sailcloth, med-heavy drapery, and light upholstery. Questions? Please contact Cindy Nelson.
