It’s time to start sewing cloth bags for the Missions Team…our goal is 200 bags! We’ll be filling these bags with school supplies for MMDC (Midwest Mission Distribution Center) in August. Sewers are invited to pick up a pattern and fabric outside the church office or here’s the pattern. Fabric donations are also welcome and can be dropped off in the container by the church office. The recommended fabrics are denim, corduroy, sailcloth, med-heavy drapery, and light upholstery. Questions? Please contact Cindy Nelson.

Clean out your desk drawer and bring your used school supplies to Asbury! The Missions Team is collecting used school supplies that will be sent to schools in Honduras where extra supplies are not readily available. Accepted items should be in good, usable condition: backpacks, pencil cases, markers, highlighters, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, colored pencils, crayons, glue, scissors, spiral or composition notebooks, construction paper, pens (red, black and blue), rulers, compass sets and geometry kits. Drop off your donations in the tub outside the church office.
