Youth Ministry

Next Generation Mission Statement: Equipping the next generation to be a community of love, discipleship, and service because of Jesus.

At Asbury, our goal is to create a safe, authentic, and inclusive environment where students from all backgrounds can come and explore how God is working in their lives and in the world around them. For more information, contact Emily Lawrence, Director of Next Generation Ministries.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Youth Group

Asbury's Youth Group meets from September to May. All are welcome!

All students in grades 6-12 will join together every Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for friendship, discipleship and service together!

Small Groups are the core of youth ministries here at Asbury. This is a format in which students gather with their peers, along with adults who care about their lives and their faith. In these groups students explore concepts relating to life, faith, service, and issues teens care about.

Questions?

Confirmation

Confirmation is for students 8th Grade and up.

This journey will equip students with the information, tools, and resources to further their relationship with Christ. We will explore topics such as community, church history, our beliefs, the Bible, prayer, and theology. After a series of classes, students will confirm the vows that were made at their baptism, make a public commitment to Jesus Christ, and become full members of our church community.

Questions?
ANNUAL FALL EVENT

DAKyouth

Questions?

Camping Ministry

At Asbury, we believe there are great opportunities to have life-changing experiences with Jesus at camp. There are a variety of camps available for all ages and interests through our Dakotas Conference Camps.

Asbury is also committed to investing in those wishing to attend camp by providing camp scholarships covering half of the camp cost. When registering, simply use Asbury's church code 120181CA.

WAYS TO HELP

Help serve as a part of Asbury's Youth Ministry. Volunteers assist in a variety of areas including Confirmation, Middle School/High School Youth and special events.

Our youth group is growing, and we greatly appreciate volunteers providing snacks for the active bodies that come each week! If you'd like to bring snacks, please plan for 35-50 people, and bring to the youth room by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday night.
