Palm/Passion Sunday - "From a Distance?"
We like to associate with winners, success and pleasure. We distance ourselves from loss, pain and failure. Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey. Is he a winner or a loser? Will we follow him, but only from a distance?
March 23rd
Easter Sunday - "Hope To See You Again" - John 20:1-18
When things are dark; we hope for light. When we're ill; we hope for health. In despair; we want to hope. In death; we seek life. We all want a shot at "new life"? Easter is about hope! The silence of an empty tomb speaks volumes about Christ on the loose in the world.

There's a difference between hired hands and owners. The Good Shepherd is willing to lay down his life for his sheep. It can be a thankless job! But a good shepherd will risk his life for his flock. It's not just ownership it's a relationship.

Festival of God's Creation - "Just Higher on the Root of a
Plant" - Genesis 1:26-31
The creation story says that God gave humans "dominion" over the earth. "Dominion" comes from a Hebrew term meaning "higher on the root of a plant." It implies that we are dependent on everything under us. We are called to care for creation.
