From your Parish Nurse

HEALTH FAIR - SCREENING FOR LIFE - October 22, 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.  Health Screening will include: Mammograms,
glucose and cholesterol, blood pressure, cancer 101
presentation, Pharmacy and Nutrition Information, Smoking Cessation and Asthma Information, Inflatable Semi-Colon,
Educational Booths, Massage and Healthy Snacks.  For more information or questions, contact Tracy Johnson.

Blood Pressure Clinic
We will be doing this on the second Sunday of every month from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. so you can keep track of your blood pressure health.

I have immensely enjoyed the opportunities I have had so far to meet and talk to many of you about your health concerns. Remember, my role as Parish Nurse is to be a resource to all members of our congregation on health issues and to be an advocate and a resource if you are confused about your health treatment.

If you’d like to visit with me, I am in my office (Room 106) Mondays 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and other times by
appointment. If you’d like to reach me, please call the Church office, 332-8861, and leave a message with Roxie.
