Worship music & singing
Game or object lesson
Small group Bible study
What will we study?
Currently studying characters of the Bible from a Bible Study series from Doug Fields' simplyyouthministry.com
Where do we meet?
Journey meets in the middle school room at Asbury
When do we meet?
Journey meets from 4:00 until about 5:15 every Sunday afternoon unless otherwise stated
We spend the first 15 playing a game that ties in with the lesson for the evening
We then spend about 10 minutes singing worship songs
The last 20-25 minutes is spent in small groups studying the Bible and trying learn how to live better lives
Why do we bother with all this?
We, at Asbury, believe with all our heart that Jesus Christ came to save humanity
We also believe that living the kind of lives talked about in the Bible will lead to the most enjoyment in life
